Captain America: The Winter Soldier Has "Knocked It Out Of The Park"

Marvel's 2013 film servings may not be quite finished yet, with the release of Thor: The Dark World in the UK at the end of October and at the beginning of November for the US, but that's not going to stop the buzz for one of next year's biggest blockbusters: Captain America: The Winter Soldier. There's apparently good reason for it too.

In an interview with British magazine ScifiNow Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce dropped some hype of the sequel and its directors, Anthony and Joe Russo:

"The next phase has such a good bunch of directors, from the Russos, who by all accounts have knocked it out of the park with Captain America 2 - I've seldom heard buzz from the editing room as good as that movie," said Pearce.

The Winter Soldier will be joining The Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men: Days of Future Past as Marvel's 2014 offerings.

The plot will revolve around the appearance of the mysterious assassin known as The Winter Soldier and have a more classic espionage flick feel to it along the lines of Brubaker's run on the comic book.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in theatres on April 4th.
