Tin Man Games Releases Curse Of The Assassin And Turns 5

I don't know if you've been reading The Trollish Delver for very long, but if you have you may realise that I have all the love in the world for Tin Man Games. The app developer is celebrating a milestone this year with five years of sweet gaming business with the release of Assassin in Orlandes sequel Curse of the Assassin.

Assassin in Orlandes is where TMG's Gamebook Adventure started before taking off into orbit and Curse of the Assassin in the 8th book in the series bringing you into the heart of a conspiracy in your home village. The game is out for Android and iOS for your consumption, but don't be blaming me for the digital crack I'm peddling here. I've always found these games, as well as the Fighting Fantasy apps they produce, to be huge (and awesome) time sinks.

TMG has come a long way since they began with a game that founder Neil Rennison has told me not to mention (it rhymes with Lootrees). Assassin in Orlandes was really the first well-made digital gamebook on iOS. Sure, Big Blue Bubble had done some Fighting Fantasy ports but they were notoriously buggy and super meh. TMG went further and created their own system and hired amazing writers and artists to create an original game, which eventually became a fantastic series.

TMG now has a tonne of irons in the fire, with amazing licenses and 4 more Gamebook Adventures in the pipeline, they show no sign of slowing down.

So happy 5th anniversary Tin Man Games. Best dealer ever.
