Killshot: Reloaded sets its sights on $3,000 in Kickstarter funding

Killshot Reloaded looks to be a pretty ambitious tabletop project, and one that's sure to pique the interest of gamers. A revamp and expansion of the original Killshot rules, Reloaded sets the players up as assassins in one of five genres: noir, oriental, Cold War, wild west and hard-boiled detective. That's a lot of stuff right there, and Broken Ruler Games is asking for $3,000 on Kickstarter to make it happen.

From the Kickstarter page:

Killshot Reloaded is an updated and expanded edition of the deadly tabletop game launched in 2012 and, if funded, will go public in early 2014. Rewritten from the ground up, assassins and Directors will have the opportunity to take their careers through one of five themes introduced in this game. From the mean streets of pulp crime (Killshot Noir) to the ancient traditions of the ninja (Way of the Killshot), there's more than one way to get the job done (Remember Rule #2?). Try them out one at a time or engage your players for an entire career. Want to ramp up the action? Killshot Reloaded will provide new and expandable guidelines for controlling the level of action and intensity in your games. As this campaign pushes forward, you can help unlock special previews demonstrating how you can ride the plains of the Wild West, travel the world as an international operative, apprentice under a ninja master, and even pursue these scumbags as a police detective.

If funded, Killshot Reloaded will be released as a 250+ page PDF and 6x9 full-color softcover in early 2014. As a backer, you'll have first dibs on the game to brag and hold over every friend, follower, and blog reader before we launch this game to the public. You could also help us continue to produce additional material through future issues of Killshot Files, increase the page count, or convert one of the themes into a stand-alone setting supplement. But first we need to reach our base goal and bring the next edition to the present.

Now, I don't know about you, but I think that sounds bloody awesome. You can even have a gander at the first chapter of the rules right here.
