Margaret Weis Productions to release Firefly RPG

It doesn't look like we'll be getting a new season of Firefly anytime soon (or ever), but there's good news for gamers - Margaret Weis Productions has obtained the license to produce a Firefly tabletop RPG. Time to throw on your duster jacket and brush up on your 'Verse slang.
This is great news for browncoats and particularly good for MWP, especially after their Smallville and Supernatural licenses have both just expired.

In 2005 the company released the well-received and critically applauded Serenity RPG, based on the film that spun out of Firefly. "This project is a dream come true for me. I have been such a long-time fan of Firefly!" says MWP President Margaret Weis. "I look forward to working with my crew to take us all back out into the Black!"

Naturally, the game will use the Cortex System as with other MWP games. I played the Serenity game a few times and very much enjoyed it, so we're looking forward to Firefly.
