2013 in retrospect and looking to 2014

I hope you're all full of food and all that kind of merry stuff, even if you don't celebrate this wacky mish-mash of a holiday. It's been a great year for me and the blog, although I will admit that projects have got in the way of posting content on the site in some circumstances.
In January I released The Trollmanac, a sort of treasure trove of goodies for GMs and players of Tunnels & Trolls. It's a book that went down really well and garnered some great reviews, so I'm chuffed you liked it. I also started giving a sneak peek at USR Fantasy, which would become Halberd Fantasy Roleplaying down the line.
Mid-year I decided to further alter my comic-reading habits by stopping the purchase of singles altogether and focus on trades/hardcovers. I think I've only just got used to that.
After the Kickstarter of Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls had funded, Trollish Delver Games became one of the sanctioned publishers and sellers of the upcoming system. Oh yes, baby!
In August Halberd Fantasy Roleplaying was released using the USR system. The name was a result of a Google Plus vote and it's developed a nice little fanbase. A really little one, but one all the same. Watch out for more Halberd stuff in 2014.
Peryton Publishing and I also published a new T&T adventure called Death at Grimwood Hall in October (on my birthday!) so you should totally play that.
Throughout the year I've also been writing, drafting and having general brainstorms about a number of games and materials, some of which will come to fruition in 2014, including the USR campaign supplements.
One of my main highlights of the year was finally meeting David Walters, author and writer of one of the new Way of the Tiger books. He bought me a whisky, so he's officially a great fellow.
So what does 2014 hold? As I say, I'm planning a series of USR supplements that focus on how to play USR in different genres. They won't be complete games like Halberd Fantasy, but they will give players and GMs the tools to play cyberpunk, hard sci-fi, sword & sorcery, post-apocalypse and more. Each book will be relatively short, meaning you can spend less time reading and more time playing the game you want to play.
Also there's going to be a new solo adventure for USR by someone you might recognise. More on that later.
Of course, we can't ignore Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls. I will be releasing a GM adventure once the new edition is released, which I'm crazy excited about. I will also continue to work with the amazing Peryton on our Peakvale line.
I want to thank you for reading this little blog and for sticking with me through 2013. I really appreciate all your comments, emails and feedback. You're good peoples.
